Pat and DBYN

After my 6 months volunteering in India I have continued my involvement by helping out at the Salesiain Sisters' youth club in Streatham as well as by becoming a representative of DBYN (Don Bosco Youth-Net).
DBYN is an international network of Salesian youth work offices and youth organisations which work in the style of Don Bosco. The network brings together 13 member organisations from 13 EU member states. It assemblies over 1000 employees and 17000 volunteers who cater for over 150000 children and young people. I attend seminars and am now one of the trainers on the international training activities. I also still involved with BOVA - helping out at training weekends and as a support worker for volunteers overseas.
